ARONKYLÄ IN ENGLISH

Aronkylä is one of the biggest villages of Kauhajoki municipality. It has about 1000 inhabitants and many of them are of foreign origin. Most of the non-Finnish speakers work in the Aronkylä industry area in several different factories. The labour need is still growing and the village may expect more international habitants.

Services
There is an elementary school, grocery store, kiosk, bank, restaurant and a gas station in the village, to mention some services available.

Free time
In Aronkylä there are several hobby clubs where you can find fun things to do and contacts to local people. The village association maintains leisure time area, which is in the address of Lampelantie 39 (close to the gas station). Everyone is free to use the area and rent the cabin. The other village association within the village is Enon-Kuutin kyläseura, which organizes happenings in the western part of the village. Its active people do sports together, organize happenings and trips.

The farmer's club organizes different happenings and leisure time trips. Even though the club is originally establish to aid farmers, it is open for everyone nowadays. The club also rents machinery for farm work and a big number of different dishes (plates, coffee pots, etc.) for parties.

Karhu-Siskot is an active sport club, which mainly organizes different sport activities in the school hall of Aronkylä. There are aerobics of different type and also some for men. Volleyball is one of the sports lovers favourites. Everyone is free to try classes before joining the club. School yard and its possibilities are also free to use during the evenings, also for adults. Opposite of the school are places to play football and ice hockey.

Aronkylä also has its own Rotary and Lions clubs. Also some political parties and churches act withing the village area.
